 In 2018, Cassie's Caws was born from the love and memory of our dear friend, Cassie, who left us far too soon. Originally named Cassie’s Cause, we recently updated our name to "Caws" – a nod to Cassie's love for animals and the purpose we serve. This change keeps her spirit alive, with a connection to our mission and a tribute to her heart for animals.

We began with small, meaningful collections, starting with a food truck event that raised donations for the Humane Society of Broward County. Cassie’s unwavering passion for animals inspired every step we took, and it continues to fuel our mission today.

As we partnered with the Humane Society of Broward County and the Broward County Honor Society, we expanded our reach to local schools, creating a powerful network of support. Today, Cassie's Caws is the go-to donation hub in Broward County, rallying the support of middle and high school National Honor Society chapters.

Our mission is simple: we aim to improve the lives of homeless animals by raising awareness and collecting donations for local shelters. But we’re not stopping here—our vision is to grow beyond Broward County and become a nonprofit powerhouse, spreading love and support across new communities.
